AgOpen ID Tag & Rumen Bolus
Final stages of developmentAn external AgOpen ID Tag paired with a rumen bolus gives each animal a permanent ID that stays with it for its whole life. Two identifiers guard against lost or swapped tags, so a lender or insurer can prove a specific animal, whether you own 1 cow or 1,000.
AgOpen LoRa & GPS Tags
In developmentTwo connected ear tags, each paired with the rumen bolus, so producers can choose what fits their operation.
AgOpen LoRa ID Tag. The cost-effective choice for commercial cattle. It is built with the capability to connect to LoRa networks, low-power, long-range radio that can carry data for miles across open pasture without cell service. Readings from the bolus and the tag are designed to travel through LoRa gateways back to the ranch and into AgOpen software.
AgOpen GPS Tag. Adds GPS location and geofencing firmware, designed to show exactly where cattle are and to set virtual fences without building new wire.
AgOpen Drone & Drone-as-a-Service
Final stages of developmentA drone flies the pasture to count each animal, estimate its weight, record its location and pair it with its ID record, all without gathering the herd. When a lender or insurer needs a final check, AgOpen can fly it as a service.
